FAQ

Yes, we do require appointments. We want to make sure that we have a stylist ready to guide you and help you find an amazing gown for your wedding or special occasion. Bridal appointments are an hour and half. Please schedule an appointment on our website or by calling the store at 440-943-6065.

We understand that things happen, but we have a policy that a cancellation 48-hours or sooner before your appointment will incur a $50 fee. A credit card will be required at appointment booking and kept on file for this 48-hour policy. If you feel there are extenuating circumstances that are preventing you from being able to visit and you wish to reschedule, please give us a call!

We only have one requirement: please wear underwear on your bottom half! You will have a private dressing room to change. All of our wedding gowns do have bra cups sewn in, so you don’t need to worry about a strapless bra. Any shapewear or other foundation garments are up to you and your personal comfort! If you have any modesty concerns, please give us a call and let us know so that we can accommodate you.

At Galleria Gowns, our large selection of wedding gowns from several different designers means that we’ll be able to find you your dream dress, no matter your price point. Our wedding gown collection begins around $1400 and go up to $5500. Most of our dresses are between $1600 and $2500. We also have a large selection of sample dresses available for immediate purchase from $500.

Congratulations on your engagement! We recommend that you begin with selecting your venue and solidifying the date of your wedding first, then make picking your wedding gown your next priority! Ideally, you’ll shop for your wedding gown 10-12 months before your wedding. Wedding gowns can take 6-9 months to come in, so it’s important to order in plenty of time to account for the alterations process, which is another 2-3 months. If your wedding is approaching quickly, don’t worry! There are still options for you. Some designers offer rush options for a fee, and we have a large selection of sample dresses available to purchase and take home the same day!

Our sample dresses range from a bridal size 8 to a bridal size 24. Although bridal sizing does run smaller than standard sizing, we do our very best to make sure that we can accommodate brides of all body types.

Absolutely! You can click on Bridal, then Wedding Gowns, and toggle the “In Store” option on the left-hand side of the screen. For our curvy brides, to see the selection we have specifically for you, select Bridal, then Curvy Girl, and toggle the “In Store” option on the left-hand side of the screen.

Our stylists are all trained to accurately take measurements of your bust, waist, and hips, which we then compare to each designer’s individual size charts to determine the best size for you. Because bridal sizing runs differently from standard department store sizing, expect that the recommended size for your wedding gown will be 2-3 sizes larger than you are used to purchasing. If you are between sizes, we often recommend sizing up. Dresses can always be taken in, but they often cannot be let out.

We know that finding a seamstress you trust can be difficult. While we don’t offer bridal alterations in-house, we do have a list of experienced bridal seamstresses that we recommend. For bridesmaids and Mother of the Wedding, we do offer alterations in-house for an extra cost.

We know that you want to celebrate – finding your dress is exciting! To protect our inventory, we ask that you only bring water onto the showroom floor. Any other beverages must stay at the front desk. We ask that you do not bring food to your appointment.

All of our gowns are custom ordered. Because of this, all sales are final on purchases, payments, and special orders.

Absolutely! We always recommended taking photos and videos to help you compare dresses, make your final decision, and remember your experience! We also have a photo station for celebrating once you’ve said yes to the dress.

We know that children are often an important part of your bridal party. Because bridal appointments can be long and to limit distractions from the bride, we do ask that only children age 10 and over join your bridal styling appointments. Of course, children under age 10 are welcome for their own flower girl or First Communion appointments.

We partner with The Wedding Gown Preservation Company to offer cleaning and preservation of your wedding gown after your big day! All preserved gowns come in a sealed box with a window so you can still see your gorgeous dress. Cleaning and preserving your dress allows you to save it for a memento or keeps it in excellent condition to be passed on in the future.
